Beschreibung
Minotaur is an easy to learn, hard to master 20-minute tile laying game. In a one-player game you play Daedalus, the master builder in charge constructing and sealing shut a labyrinth while Minotaur hunts for you and the unfinished exit. A second player can take over as Minotaur in a two-player match.
On each turn select a labyrinth section from the Builders Board, and a location to build it atop a grid of randomly arranged land tiles. Your choices impact what labyrinth sections you have available on your next turn, and the direction and distance that Minotaur moves. Different types of labyrinth sections are blessed by different Greek gods, giving Daedalus an edge if used at the right time.
Earn points for building along rivers, lose points for building on vineyards, and don't let the Minotaur reach you or the exit before you finish! Earning and placing pillars will help slow Minotaur's progress and earn extra points.
In a two-player game Daedalus has less influence on Minotaur's movement, which is now controlled by the second player. Minotaur can topple and carry away pillars built by Daedalus, and steal labyrinth sections before they are set in place in order to build temples. Both players may build temples to different gods to thwart each other's progress.
